Kambo: Questions and Concerns Part 4

Are Allergic Reactions Possible?: While such has yet to occur, there is always a chance of such occurring. However, there isn't much to worry about with this, should it occur. For starters, the venom can be easily wiped off should such happen. This will not only help curve the reaction, but also remove the other effects it casts onto the body. It should be noted that there is a fine line between allergic reactions and the typical reactions that are caused by this medicine.
For the most part, just look for red eyes, swollen eyes, and other signs of reaction. It should be noted that the venom can cause similar effects and be mistaken for an allergic reaction, such as possible throat swelling. However, breathing is still possible under the Kambo and not the allergic reaction and isn't hard to identify. But again, such has yet to be found, but it's always wise to safeguard against such and is why we do one point
How long should you hold off eating?: When it comes to doing Kambo, much like Ayahuasca, it is best to hold off from eating anything. The difference here is: For one, you don't have to go on a vegetarian diet. And also: You don't have to fast for as long. If you wanted to, you could sleep the night before and do it in the morning: you could do such. Just keep hydrated when you do so.
Also like Ayahuasca, you can drink water during this interaction. It's best to have some ready and also in your stomach prior to the applying of the medicine. Mainly because if you do purge, it isn't dry heaving. This process can also dehydrate you like Ayahuasca, so two bottles at minimal is recommended. After, take about an hour and you're ready to go on with your day.
