Ayahuasca the Experience and the Awakening

People are called to Ayahuasca for many different reasons and the experiences and awakenings they receive are very personal ones. It doesn't matter how many blogs or forums you read or how many interviews you watch, you will find that the experience and awakening you receive will be very unique to YOU. While there really are only so many different stories in this world, our perspectives and reactions to them are what make them all unique. This is why the effect that Ayahuasca has on us is so very different, so very individual specific. And while we may think that our "biggest" issue is the one that needs to be addressed, we often find in ceremony that our "biggest" issue is the result of

Ayahuasca in a word

I have found that many people use the word Ayahuasca without real understanding of the word. Ayahuasca is a word that really describes nothing, much like the word sandwich, I can ask you to eat a sandwich with me but you still do not know what you are eating. Every Shaman brews their own brew with different plants. And every Shaman will tell you they are brewing Ayahuasca. In South America many Shamans add things like tobacco juice to ensure vomiting and diarrhea, or "Toe" which is also known as "Devils Breath" which is not a hallucinogen, but a delerium. What we call Ayahuasca is found all over the world all the way back to the Egyptians, made with many different plants.

Ayahuasca Underground and Safety

During one of our recent ceremonies, we were asked what we thought about these underground people and groups who offer Ayahuasca. We really just try to focus on our Church and our Members, so we're not really that familiar with other places except when there is something either dangerous or "not right" going on and a spotlight is shed on it. FIRST and foremost, let us first say that not all persons and places that work underground are bad or unsafe. It can be hard and yes, scary, to set up your own Church. Now, with that being said, this is what we found. A lot of these people who are conducting c

Love is one of the most profound emotions known to human beings. There are many kinds of love, but most people seek its expression in a romantic relationship with a compatible partner. For some, romantic relationships are the most meaningful element in their lives, providing a source of deep fulfillment. The ability to have a healthy, loving relationship is not innate. A great deal of evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship begins in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver

What's in your "Ayahuasca"?

"The only thing you're doing is not fully meeting the Mother Ayahuasca....” Chris Young, Soul Quest Ayahuasca Church of Mother Earth. It has recently come to light via Channel 9 news out of Florida that Soul Quest has re-opened after being shut down by the DEA. The difference this time? They are using ONLY the B Caapi vine in lieu of Ayahuasca. They are charging $150 per person for membership and then $350 for a ceremony that they refer to an Ayahuasca 'VINE ONLY' Ceremony. While the B Caapi vine is PART of an Ayahuasca tea, it by itself is NOT Ayahuasca, but MAOI tea. As we have stated many times before, please do your research on where you are planning to attend, and what you about to d
